Our school has produced outstanding alumni, many of whom have returned to serve as dedicated teachers within the school, contributing to its continued growth and success.
Mr. Boas Golabe is now teaching Social Science for Grade 9 and Grade 10. He is a senior teacher.
Mrs. Emmanuel is a senior teacher teaching Grade 8 Science.
Academic Performance
We consistently achieve a strong Grade 8 pass rate, averaging between 70–75%, reflecting our commitment to quality education and student success.
At Markham Road Academy, teachers are equipped to support learners with special needs, ensuring inclusive and quality education for all. The school has recorded significant progression of these students into higher grades. Featured here is Christopher Iven, a hearing-impaired student demonstrating resilience and academic growth.

One of the most well-disciplined schools in Morobe Province is Markham Road Academy. The orderliness in assembly lines, wearing of uniforms, and listening to instructions are some of the critical key priorities students uphold daily.
Where Our Students Are Today
Markham Road Academy takes pride in its distinguished alumni who have progressed into influential positions across various sectors. Their success reflects the strong academic foundation, discipline, and values instilled by the school.
Captain Rahmat Ruambil, a former student of Markham Road Primary School, began his education in 1999 and completed Grade 8 in 2006. Originally from Mt. Hagen and Jiwaka, he has progressed to become a Boeing 737 pilot, demonstrating the heights our students can achieve.
Community Engagement
Our school continues to build strong partnerships and remains actively involved in community development and engagement.
At Markham Road Academy, we empower our community by allowing parents and local vendors to sell stationery and food at the school gate, creating income opportunities that support both their families and their children’s education here.
